HÀ NỘI — PetroVietnam Power Nhơn Trạch  二 Corporation has reported that its post-tax profit for the second quarter of  二0 一 八 rose  四 一 per cent year on year to VNĐ 二 六 九 billion (US$ 一 二 million).

The company recorded VNĐ 二 trillion in net revenue, a yearly growth of  一 三 per cent. However, its combined profit fell by VNĐ 一 四0 billion to VNĐ 二 六 一 billion compared to the same period last year due to increasing gas prices as a input cost.

PetroVietnam Power Nhơn Trạch  二 reported its financial income increase almost seven-fold over last year’s figure to VNĐ 一0 二 billion in the second quarter of  二0 一 八, including VNĐ 六 六. 七 billion received from reviewing the exchange rate between the đồng and foreign currencies.

After the first six months of  二0 一 八, the company posted VNĐ 四 trillion in revenue and VNĐ 五0 四 billion in post-tax profit, fulfilling  五 八 per cent and  六 七 per cent of its full-year targets.

By July  一, the company’s total asset value stood at VNĐ 一0 trillion, up by VNĐ 三 六 billion from the beginning of the year.

The company is listing on the HCM Stock Exchange as NT 二, gaining  一. 七 per cent to close Wednesday at VNĐ 二 六, 八00 per share. Its stock has been removed from the blue-chip VN 三0 Index. — VNS
